2. Associate Professor :

Essential Qualification & Experience : A Master’s Degree in Physical Education with at least 55% of the marks with good academic record or its equivalent grade of “B” in the UGC 7 point scale. Ph.D. in Physical Education with evidence of publication work with minimum 10 publications as book or research paper.

3. Deputy Registrar :

Age Limit : Not more than 50 Years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100/- per month Plus Grade Pay Rs. 6600/-,


Essential Qualification & Experience : A Master’s Degree with at least 55% of marks or its equivalent grade “B” in the UGC seven point scale. At least 9 years’ experience as an Assistant Professor in the AGP of Rs. 6000/- and above with experience in educational administration.

4. Controller of Examination :

6. Planning and Development Officer :

Essential Qualification & Experience : A Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or any Bachelor’s degree with one year degree or Diploma in Physical Education and a Diploma in Sports Coaching (one year regular courses) from Netaji Subhash National Institute of Sports (NSNIS) or P. G. Diploma in Sports Coaching from recognized Indian or Foreign University; Evidence of having produced good performance teams / athletes for competitions like state / national / inter-university / international / combined university; Basic skill and knowledge of computer.

8. Cashier :

Conditions of Eligibilityi)    A candidate must be a citizen of India as defined in Article 5-7 of the Constitution.
        ii)    Age limit : A candidate must have attained the age of 21 yrs and must not have attained the age of 35 yrs on the first day of the year in which the Examination is held. The upper age limit is relaxable  by 5 yrs in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST and OBC as laid down by the Government.
            Note : A candidates should note that the date of birth as recorded in the HSLC/HSSLC examination certificate or an equivalent certificate on the date of submission of application will be accepted by the commission and no subsequent request for its change will be considered or granted.
       iii)    Educational Qualifications :
             a)     Degree in appropriate line of Engineering or equivalent Degree from a University Incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other Educational Institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as Universities under Section 3 of the University Grands Commission Act, 1956; or
            b)    Passed Section A & B of Examinations of the Institution of Engineers (India) in appropriate line of Engineering; or
            c)    Obtained a Degree in appropriate line of Engineering  from such Foreign University/College/Institution and under such conditions as may berecognised by the Government for the purpose from time to time; or
            d)    Passed Graduate Membership Examination of the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (India);
            e)    Knowledge of  Mizo Language upto Middle School Standard.
Provided that a candidate who has appeared at an examination the passing of which would render them educationally qualified for the examination, but has not been informed of the result or have not been declared at the time of submission of the application, may be eligible for admission to the examination. All such candidates included in the list prepared by the Commission under regulations 3(iv) shall be required to produce proof of passing the requisite examination at the time of interview before the selection board/committee failing which such candidates will not be appointed to the service.
Application fee of  Rs. 200 +10 = Rs. 210 (or Rs. 150+10 = Rs. 160 for SC/ST applicants) should be paid by cash at the Reception Counter of Mizoram Public Service Commission Office or by depositing into the Treasury under the   Head- 0051-PSC, 102-State PSC (Examination Fee. etc) or by uncrossed Indian Postal Order ( IPO) drawn in favour of Secretary, Mizoram Public Service Commission. Applicant must submit certified copies of all Certificates and Mark-sheets of  academic record from H.S.L.C. and above and Caste Certificate (for SC/ST/OBC only if claimed).
Those who are in the Government service must apply through proper channel.

The qualifications for the above posts may be obtained from the College or Website as indicated above. The Applications should reach the Principal, latest by November 26, 20l3.
Three percent of the posts will be reserved for the Physically Handicapped candidates.

Guidelines for Screening/Selection
Essential Qualifications for the posts of Assistant Professor
1. Good academic record with at least 55% marks (50% for candidates belonging to SC / ST / Persons with Disability viz. physically and visually disabled or those vvho passed their Master’s degree prior to 19/09/1991 and hold a Ph.D degree) or an equivalent grade of B in the 7 point scale with letter grades O, A, B, C, D, E & F at the Master’s degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University  or an equivalent degree from a foreign University.
2. Candidates must have qualified the National .EligibiJity Test (NET) conducted by the UGC/ CSIR or a similar test accredited by the UGC (state level eligibility test - SLET/SET).
OR
A traditional or professional artist with a highly commendable professional achievement in the subject concerned, who should have:
(a) Studied under noted/ reputed traditional masters and has thorough knowledge to explain the subject concerned; -
(b) A high grade artist of AlR/ TV; and
(c) Ability to explain the logical reasoning of the subject concerned and adequate knowledge to teach theory with illustrations in that discipline.
General Notes:
1. Candidates who are or have been awarded Ph.D degree  in compliance of, the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and procedure for awards of M.Phil /Ph.D degree), Regulations, 2009 shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET / SLET / SET.
2. NET/ SLET/ SET shall not be required for such Masters Degree Programmes in disciplines for which NET / SLET / SET accredited test is not conducted.
3. The candidates applying under PWD category may specifically mention in application their main category to which they belong i..e. UR / SC / ST / OBC for the purpose of computing the reservation. ‘
4. The candidates applying under PWD category are required to submit the Disability Certificate in the format prescribed by Government of India, Department of Personnel and Training vide OM No. 36035/ 3/ 2004-Estt(Res) dated 29.12.2005. The format is available at the website www.persmin.nic.in
5. The candidates already in service must apply through proper channel.
6. The College reserves its right not to fill any or all the post(s) advertised.
7. Application form may be obtained from the College from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on or before the last date of submission either in person or by sending a self addressed and stamped envelope of A4 size. Application form is also available on the College website .
8. Separate applications have to be submitted for each post.
9. Applications on the prescribed form must reach the Principal, Lady Shri Ram College for Women, New Delhi 110024 on or before 26 November 2013, complete in all respect with self attested copies of certificates, mark sheets, testimonials etc., alongwith a demand draft of Rs. 250/ ~ (for General / OBC) and Rs. 100 /- (for SC /ST PWD) in favour of the Principal LSR College for Women.
10. Merely fulfilling the minimum eligibility conditions does not entitle the candidates to be called for interview. The applications received shall be screened in accordance with the guidelines laid down by the University in this regard, to restrict the number of candidates.
