Inviting applications for the award of Post Doctoral Fellowship to Women Candidates for the year 2012-13 and 2013-14 

University Grants Commission invites applications for the award of Post Doctoral Fellowship to women candidates for the year 2012-2013 and 2013-2014 (Total 200 slots i.e. 100 slots each year) for unemployed women, holding Ph.D. degree in their respective subjects, to carry out advanced studies and research in sciences, engineering and technology, humanities and social sciences in Indian universities and colleges. The guidelines of the scheme, detailed terms and conditions of the fellowship, eligibility, reservations etc. may be seen by logging in the UGC website at:- www .ugc.ac. in Applications in the prescribed format may be submitted only through online mode latest by 31.12.2013 (non-extendable) by logging on to website: www.ugc.ac.in/pdfw The decision of the Commission with regard to selection of candidates for the award of fellowship shall be final.

Note:
Applications submitted only through online mode shall be entertained and no application submitted in hard copy shall be entertained or considered for award of fellowship in any circumstances whatsoever. Record of the non-selected candidates shall not be preserved beyond three months from the date of declaration of results.
